Oh, May…

Ok. so I’m totally slacking on the pregnancy update post that I promised for Saturday. We were busy moving a storage building for most of the day (which I DID NOT get any pictures of!). I finished one of the projects that I said I was working on yesterday, and guess what…I DID NOT take any pictures of them before I shipped them to their new home this morning… o_O This whole pregnancy brain thing is seriously starting to wear on me.

On another note, I’m starting another project that I can totally slack on and make myself feel bad about not doing. One of my friends posted a new daily photo challenge for the month of May that I’m going to attempt to complete. Everyday is a different “theme”, so starting tomorrow I’ll be posting a picture a day.

So don’t hate on me if I don’t complete it….
Here is a photo from this past weekend that I did get, has to be one of my favorites so far.
Happy Monday everyone!
Until next time…
Jess

Our Family

So here’s the Gibson family! Est. 2009

Adam and Jess
This was our first picture taken together, circa 2007!
Our Sweet Scarlett
I have more up to date pictures of munchkin, but I just love this one. 🙂 We have a great photographer, if you’re in the Auburn/Opelika, AL or Birmingham, AL areas I highly recommend Tracy McDaniel Photography.
Jersey Girl
This sweet pup is 12 years old. She loves new tennis balls and is always up for a trip to the river. 🙂
Dexter aka Winkie
Dexter is our Dachshund mix. When I found him at the animal shelter, I thought he would small, you know like a Dachshund, lol. Well, 40lbs later and he still thinks he’s a lap dog. Scarlett loves trying to ride him around the house!
And our little Daisy
This dog may be small, but man can she catch a tennis ball. I think she’s a Lab stuck in a Dachshund’s body!
And of course we have a new Little One on the way! I’ll be posting weekly updates on my pregnancy starting Saturday. I also have a few projects that I’ve been working on. I’ll be posting those soon, so stay tuned!

Introduction…

So I’ve been playing around with the idea of writing a blog for a while now. My biggest hang up being, of course, what in the world do I write about?? So I decided to make it Anything Goes, for now. I’m a “go with the flow” kinda person, so it makes sense that this blog should be the same.

So now for the introductions! My name is Jessica, I’m 27, and have been married to my wonderful husband, Adam, for just over 3 years. We have an 18 month old Daughter, Scarlett, and one more on the way! (Due July 7th). I work in web sales for a medical supply company, and can I just say, I LOVE my job! I have the greatest bosses, and co-workers! They are supportive and uplifting, and genuinely care about people. They want to make a difference in people’s lives, not just make a quick buck, like so many these days. I truly feel blessed to work for such a wonderful company. We live in East-Central Alabama, close to both of our families, and we really have an amazing support network. We have three fur babies, Jersey, our black lab, Dexter aka Winkie, our dachshund mix, and Daisy our miniature dachshund.

Our lives are blessed in so many ways. It’s not always easy, but it’s defiantly all worth it!

I hope in the months to come that ya’ll can get to know me better, and in turn I can get to know you!

Until next time,
Jess
